June Wishlist ✿

Hello guys!
This week I'm here with my June Wishlist; it's not as extensive as I had originally anticipated but I'm happy with the selection! I've been loving the colour white this summer as I feel like neons compliment it really well; there is a very minimal theme running throughout that I've been really loving. I've been reblogging the hell out of similar images on Tumblr; if you're interested, click here!

1. These shoes are so adorable! I found them on an American website called, karmaloop. It's not a website I would usually go on, it's not really my style but when I saw these shoes I just fell in love. I feel like they're great for this seasons trends but are unique at the same time, which is always a bonus! £45. They've also got these on Urban Outfitters in the sale for £50.

2. I've wanted a Celine tee for ages, I kind of went off the idea for a few months but I feel like seeings as my name is Celine, I'd be a fool not to get it. ;) At least if people ask my name I don't have to speak, I can just point at my top! Ha ha! On a serious note, I think it's a great simple piece that goes with just about anything! I found this for about £8 on eBay!

3. Topshop, I officially love you again. I went off Topshop for a bit when they started bringing in their crops tops left, right and centre but I was on their website a few days ago and came across this gorgeous sheer tee; covered in daisies! I think it's so perfect, I love the subtlety of the daisy trend in this tee; I'm thinking it would look great with my luminous triangle bra underneath! (Check my instagram for photos here) £26

4. THIS. Oh my. Everytime I've gone into a H&M store, I can just see this fluorescent green, floor-length kimono. It is gorgeous. It's £14.99 which is quite a good deal in my opinion and is just so kick-ass. It would look good over anything, little summer dresses, high waisted shorts and skirts; even calf length jeans and trousers.

5.
This lipgloss is quite a unique thing for me to be putting on my wishlist purely because I'm not a big lipgloss wearer or lip makeup wearer but something about this just really pulled me in! I'm thinking of a crochet white dress with little sandals, round sunglasses and orange lips. So perf. It's £5 in the Topshop sale.

6. Holographic nail polish!! I've been looking for somewhere to buy this for a while and I saw a post from CutePolish on instagram and I got the brand name, then went on to Google and found a result for Amazon; god love internet shopping! It's £5.

7. Flipflops! I always buy Primark sandals or flipflops for the summer but I really wanted to invest in some good quality ones. My aunt wears these and I've always really liked the style; so simple. They're Havaianas and their design just adds a bit more luxury to simple footwear. These are £18 on Karmaloop but I'm pretty sure they're sold elsewhere.

So that concludes my wishlist, I hope you enjoyed this style blog post; I would really appreciate some feedback!

Thanks for reading! Ciaooo! ✿

Everyday Makeup - Summer ✿

Hello!
It's nice to see you, to see you, NIIIIIICEEEE.
Bit o'Brucie to lighten up your day there. You're welcome.

Today I've decided to do an everyday makeup post to show you the contents of my makeup bag and what I put on my face during the warmer months. Now I do say this is my summer makeup purely because of the foundation that I use; because lets face it, Britain isn't getting much of a great summer as of yet. Why I oughtta! But I shall continue regardless.

Some of my makeup products do need a bit of a re-vamp and I do need to purchase some new items but for now I'll show you my current products! I will do an updated makeup post in the future.

Here's mah faceeee. This is what I usually look like on a day to day basis. It's very basic, sometimes I opt for eye shadow but that's a rare occasion.

Also, for anyone who's wondering my t-shirt is from American Apparel; neon trend - ON IT.

Before I start talking about my makeup, I would just like to give a shout out to my makeup bag. I'm just IN LOVE with it! My Mum got me this for my birthday in April this year, it's £10 from Superdry and you can purchase them here. They sell them in all different colours and really worth the mullah.

So, I always start off with my daily skincare routine, wash and moisturise, then I start off with my base. I use the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation which I have been loving! It's by far the best foundation I've tried, I have a review on my blog if you want to check it out! HERE. To apply that I use my Real Techniques stippling brush; a brush that I covet. I really need to try their other brushes because I'm so impressed with this one and I've heard great things about their blending brush.

After that I apply my cheek makeup, that includes blusher and bronzer. My bronzer is by MUA and cost like £1; for the price I wasn't really expecting much but it's okay. But like most drug store bronzers (apart from the Borjois one) they're either glittery or really orange. In my case, I've got an orange toned one. It suits me well and doesn't look too orange but I need to invest in Hoola by Benefit or Laguna by NARS. I've been lusting over the Nars one for a good few years now..I think it's time I got invested. I also use Peach Melba by Natural Collection for my blusher. It's very similar to my bronzer colour so sometimes it doesn't show up too well, but I prefer a peachy tone to a really pink one. I use a random Bobbypin brush for both; it's nothing special but it works for now; as I say I need to invest in some more Real Techniques brushes!

After I've applied my face makeup I go onto my eyebrows! Filling in my eyebrows is my favourite part of doing my makeup; I just love creating the shape! I use a Vital Radiance brow powder, I'm not sure what the brand is like as I found this at a market; haha! The colours suit my hair colour and it stays on during the day! I don't feel the need to purchase a new brow powder anytime soon. I also carry a little eyebrow plucker with me; this one I got for Christmas a few years ago and it was from Hawkin's Bazaar funnily enough and it's AMAZING. Best one I've ever had.

I then go onto my mascara and eyeliner; I don't always wear eyeliner as my eyes are very watery and it tends to run under my eyes. The one I'm using now is by Rimmel London and is meant to be waterproof and long lasting; it does no such thing! I don't know if it's just my eyes or if it's just a crap product but Tanya Burr said it was good so technically I blame her. Haha! I also use a Tanya Burr recommend mascara which I also like! It's The Falsies Winged by Maybelline. I really like the winged effect but I would prefer a more volumising mascara, so I think I'll also have to purchase They're Real or BADGal by Benefit! I think a major makeup splurge is in order!

This is obviously very basic but it works for my for my everyday makeup! I know this was a very chatty post but I hope you enjoyed it! I would really appreciate a few comments telling me what you would like to see next; I'm thinking of doing a wishlist post or How I Style.

Thank you so much for reading! I'll be with you next week, ciaoooo! ✿

Picnic in the Park - OOTD ✿

Okay, okay, I know I promised a haul about 4 weeks ago, but I only had a few things and thought it would be a more substantial blog post with more garments! So I'm waiting to accumulate some bits to show you guys! For now, I'm here with an OOTD. Yesterday I spent the day at Priory Park, Southend to have a little picnic, enjoy the sun and of course take my new things out for a spin!!

Thought this picture was cute, "candid camera!".
Top: H&M £6.99 // Skirt: Topshop £16 // Socks: Topshop £3.50
// Shoes: Adidas Shell Toe (retro/second hand) //
 Sunglasses: New Look £4.99 //
 Necklace: Primark £-- //
Bracelet: handmade

I'm wearing Models Own Nail Polish in Toxic Apple - Ice Neon
I'm so glad I've actually been able to get out and wear my skater skirt, I feel like it doesn't have the same effect in winter! Finally summer is here, it's taken it's time but it's here and I'm going to make the absolute most of it this year as summers are almost unheard of in England! Ha ha!

Ooo, I went a bit "graphic art" with this picture but I think these shoes deserve it! These are the new addition to my humble shoe collection, kindly given to me by my aunt! My aunt and uncle have the most amazing shoe collection and my aunt had generously given two pairs of shoes, one addidas (these ones) and Nike Air Force 1's. These types of shoes are becoming sooo popular and I'm so grateful that I have a stylish auntie because she's saved me a lot of money, ha ha!

I had been given these Addidas Shell Toe shoes and because they're black I struggled on ways I could style them, without making them look groovy, ha ha. Eventually I pulled this outfit together and I love it! I can't wait to style these shoes more!

I hope you've enjoyed my blog post, I'm going to aim to create at least 1 blog post a week, my project deadline is coming up soon so hopefully after that I'll have a lot more time to think of fun things to do on this blog!

Thank you so much for reading, and keep your eyes peeled for either a "how I style" or "lookbook" type post!

Ciao! ✿

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Review ✿

Today I'm reviewing the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation; I've heard so much about this foundation through beauty blogs and YouTube saying it's an amazing product and worth a try so I popped to Boots and got my own bottle for £9.99.

I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I am SO pleased with it! It's a medium to full coverage but some problem areas might need a bit of concealer. I have a lot of red pigments in my skin, especially in the middle of my face around my nose and on my chin and this foundation does so well to cover it up! It gives me a flawless and radiant complexion, a perfect foundation for the warmer months.

The shade I purchased is No.53 Light Beige which matched me perfectly, I haven't got my summer tan on yet so I don't know if I'm going to need to purchase a second shade. I'm wearing an MUA Bronzer and Natural Collection blusher in Peach Melba. I apply this foundation with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush which is really good for flawlessly blending the product onto the skin.

After hearing all the hype about this product it's definitely worth buying, if you like a dewy, healthy looking foundation then this is a perfect drug store buy! I wouldn't suggest buying it if you have oily skin just because it rubs off quite during the day, I've noticed that at college, it'll rub off on my chin and mainly the centre of my face slightly, the parts where I'm most oily. But apart from that it's very long lasting and I seriously recommend it!

Thanks so much for reading! I'll be back on Thursday with a HAUL featuring American Apparel! :)

Covent Garden OOTD ✿

I feel like every blog post I do begins with an apology and I have to say, almost a month without a blog post is pretty appalling, so again, my sincerest apologies.
Today (or rather tonight I should say) I have an ootd post which should have been uploaded a week ago when I went to visit the beautiful Covent garden and the ICA Exhibition center. I will have pictures from the Exhibition at the end if any of you are interested!

In this outfit post I have a few new items that I would like to show you! Apologies for the awful photo of me, unfortunately, there's only ONE of me, so I can't take photos of myself. :/

I think it's my hair that totally ruins this picture for me. Anyway, there I am standing outside the Paul Smith shop. ;)

Top: Topshop // Jeans: New Look // Socks: Topshop // Shoes: River Island // Bag; Zara // Neckalce & bracelet: New Look //

I found this super cute long top in the Topshop sale for £7, I can't work out whether they're black stripes or navy blue, but it's got two cuts going up either side so I could style it tucked into something with the back out etc. It's a staple for my summer wardrobe and an absolute bargin in my opinion!

My wrist accessories! On my left hand I wore a selection of thread bracelets, 3 of them were dainty chains, two neon colours with heart charms that I also got from the Topshop sale!
On my right hand I wore a simple bangle that I stole from my sister (mwuahahhahaa) and a chain bracelet to match my neckalce, this bracelet was free with the New Look 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' which I also got my chain necklace with. The necklace cost me £6.99 - the cheapest I've seen these necklaces so far.

I hope you enjoyed my outfit post, I should be back tomorrow (or the next day) with a review of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation! I've been loving it so far and I'm going to go more into detail in that post. Also, let me know if you'd like a 'What's in my Makeup Bag' post!

I'm now going to leave with some photographs of the Exhibition I visited at the ICA. It was called '2000 Wasted Years' by The Bernadette Corporation. They're a New York retrospective art group who tried their hand at ambiguous fashion branding in the 90's. The exhibition shows all their work from when the began to the current day. I'll leave the link to the ICA website if you fancy visiting. Thanks for reading!

Wantworthy ✿

wantworthy.com

First of all, APOLOGIES for not posting since like March, bad, I know. But alas, I am now here with an interesting post. Some of you might have already heard of this website but I've only recently been introduced to it.
This site is basically your personal wishlist, anything that catches your eye, you're able to keep all nice and tidy on one little site! I've found it so handy as I'm always browsing the internet for new clothes.

This is my wantworthy profile/wishlist. At the moment I've got a few things from NastyGal and Zara etc. This is just to give you a rough feel of what the website looks like. So now onto how it works:

So, after signing up to Wantworthy, you have to install a lightweight button to your bookmarks/toolbar so that when you come across a garment that you really like, you just click the button and it automatically adds it to your Wantworthy wishlist without having to go on the website etc. It's so easy to use and it's really great to see all of your wants on one page.
So when you click the Wantworthy button in your tool bar, a little box will come up where it allows you to save your item to your wishlist and lets you correct any information etc.
And there it is, now added to my wishlist. I really suggest you guys get this website, it's really handy and it's great to see all of your favourite picks in one place. It'd be great if you could also check out my Wantworthy to see what sort of things I have my eye on. I'm getting paid soon so I guess you can expect a few things in a haul post soon!

I hope you guys join the site and check out my wishlist, leave your links in the comments if you wish!
Thanks for reading!

Haul ✿

Haul ✿

So this week I'm here with a haul blog post, showing you all the things I've bought over the past month! This is my first haul on my blog so I hope you enjoy it!

Primark:
Although it's not my favourite place to shop, half my wardrobe is built up with Primark items and recently they've have had some real gems so I went on a little spree!

Firstly I got this pinky peach shirt that was on sale for either £2 or £5. The first thing I noticed about it was the colour and the cute gold dots. I also love the peter pan collar. It's fits fine apart from the chest area which is really annoying, I was going to exchange it for a bigger size but this was the last one there. Oh well, I'll find some way to style it.

I came across this vest and I just fell in love with it straight away, it's very similar to the Topshop shirt that I showed in my previous blog post except it's not a shirt, it's a vest. Haha. I think it's a great piece for the summer and has that porcelain, china look about it. I can see it going well with pretty much everything; I'm happy with this purchase. This was £4.

Okay, there's something about these baseball inspired tees that I just love! I love the print, I think it's so cool, the only thing I would say about this is that it's wayyyy to long so I may have to do a bit of DIY on this baby! This was £3.

Next up is the black sheer shawl which I totally fell in love with. I've got my eyes peeled for a floor length sheer kimono because I think they're gorgeous but I found this for £5 or £6, forgive me if I'm wrong, I honestly can't remember. Naughty blogger.

I've had my eye on a full length maxi skirt for a very long time but I didn't want to have to pay the earth just in case I didn't like it but luckily good old Primark came up trumps and I found this black pleated one for a tenner! Bargin!

I had been on the hunt for a tartan scarf and was planning to get one from H&M but I saw this in Primark for £2 in the sale and I couldn't resist!

I found this super dainty cross necklace and picked it up for a bargainous £2!

I'm loving Primark jewellery at the moment, I'm seriously impressed with the quality and design, they're quite unique for once! All these necklaces were £3 each I think all in the sale. The furthest to the left is absolutely gorgeous, everytime I went into Primark I kept seeing it and it was getting cheaper and cheaper so I seized the day and purchased it! The gold disc necklace is possibly the best purchase I've made in a while, it goes with absolutely everything and looks amazing! The necklace to the right I bought because I loved the crystal look but it's harder to style than the others.

Rubber neon chain bracelets were £2.50 and I fell in love with them, they will look great for summer!

The simple cross earrings £1, a staple pair of earrings in my opinion.

Set of 12 earrings £2.50. Love the triangles, the peace signs and the hamsa hands.

Galaxy rock ring was £2 I think..I love statement rings and this one is great!

Okay that's all for Primark, now onto Topshop!

Every girl needs a pair of Topshop Leigh Jeans in their wardrobe, LYKE SRSLY. They are super light and really comfortable and I'm sooo pleased with this purchase, I think I'm going to have to invest in a darker pair soon! These were £38.

Okay, so you know when you see something for the first time and fall in love with it? Well, that happened. I saw this in store and it was like love at first sight. It's by the concession Tea and Cake who do amazing graphic tees like this! I need to find ways of being more adventurous with this top but I am so so so pleased with it! £25.

Now onto jewellery, apologies for the sausage fingers. I have been so intrigued by these bracelet rings and I think they look gorgeous but I never had the balls to wear one. Luckily I found this in the Topshop sale for like £3! BARGIN. I still haven't worn it though, I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a bit.

Also in the Topshop sale I bought these earrings, GIANT hoops which I love and dainty ombre dangly earrings. They were both £2 each or something, or £3...I can't remember. The hoops will be great for summer if I can brave having my hair up!

Then a quick dash to River Island!

In River Island I found the most amazing purse; lime green. Flippin gorgeous. There is also a matching bag but I won't get too ahead of myself, this purse was £10.
I also found an above knuckle ring set for only £2! Unfortunately I got a bit excited and forgot to check the size, so I'll have to go and exchange it for something that actually fits!

And last, my 'beautiful, worth every penny' purchase is this gorgeous ZARA bag.

This is the Office City bag from Zara and I absolutely adore it! It was a hefty £49.99 but it's totally worth it! It's the perfect size for me to fit all my college books and pencil cases in, it also has a middle compartment to fit a mac book! Unfortunately I don't have a mac book, I tried fitting my laptop in there but I had no such luck. It's not good for carrying wider stuff in, like SLR Cameras or fleece pyjamas..I know, I've tried. Haha. If you're considering purchasing ANY Zara bag, go for it, they're such lovely quality and worth every penny!

So that's it from me, was a pretty long haul but I hadn't been shopping in forever, I got some great things, especially for summer which I'm super excited about, if it even decides to arrive in England this year(!). I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post, if you did then let me know and I shall continue making more like this!

Thanks for reading 'xo
