Summer in the Winter ✿

Fairly late blog post, apologies. BUT I went to college on Monday dressed like it was summer, big mistake, I was pretty cold for most of the day. Haha, I hope you enjoy!

This jersey maxi skirt is a lot warmer than a sheer maxi skirt but I still don't think it was appropriate for winter weather as I was absolutely freezing, haha. I really love this outfit though and is perfectly adaptable for spring and summer!

Wishlist ✿

Wish list for Feb 2013:

First of all, a black cami! I think everyone needs one of these in their summer wardrobe, they're perfect for layering with or on their own, they're so simple and so versatile that whatever your style, it's bound to go with everything! I need need need one of these!

Next up, a pair of jeans, I need a lighter pair of jeans, I only have dark jeans atm and as much as I do love them, I need to transition my colours into spring! You can't go wrong with a pair of Topshop Leigh jeans so I think I'm going to have to invest in a pair!

A colourful blazer. Now for Spring/Summer, I feel like neon is going to be really popular again and I think a neon or bright coloured blazer is an essential. The H&M blazers are such good quality and at an affordable price, one of these wont go amiss!

Porcelain style shirt. I saw this shirt in Topshop and is designed as an oversized, flowy shirt and I just fell in love with it. I can imagine it going really well with jeans and sandals with a pair of round sunglasses and a fedora hat..oh yes, gorgeous.

Cobalt blue! One of my favourite colours for nails at the moment! I have my eye on one from Essie, it's the perfect colour I'm looking for.

River Island bag. River Island have some really gorgeous bags in at the moment and this clutch/shoulder bag is so gorgeous. It would be good for day trips where you don't need to carry much or nights out (not that I'm old enough to go on any, haha.) I do really like this bag and would love to have it but I need a slightly bigger bag that I'm going to get use out of. I have my eye on a few Zara bags, we shall see!

Lipstick! For spring/summer I would really love a neutral, pinkier nude lipstick as I wanted to have a very effortless make up look this season. I want to keep my makeup minimal with glowing skin and soft colour on the lips. I'm sure I'll pick one of these up soon.

Ankle socks! Now I need a pair of these frilly ankle socks as I have a pair of River Island platform shoes that I adore but are hard to wear with normal socks! I think a pair of socks like this will add a cutsie twist to any outfit and will look fab even with open toe wedges or trainers etc.

That's all I want this month (not much(!) haha). I hope you guys enjoyed this style of blog post, if you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!

Got 20 dollars in my pocket OOTD ✿

Shopping OOTD
Got 20 dollars in my pocket

I have been the worlds WORST blogger recently, I haven't done a post in months, but that's all about to change! I've put together an outfit of the day post today inspired by Made In Chelsea's Cheska and the sports luxe trend! I've mixed simple glamour with a casual twist to create an effortless outfit perfect for a day out shopping! Sidenote: I'll be doing a haul in tomorrow's blog post where I'll rave about my gorgeous new Zara bag; it's a beaut. Keep an eye out for that!

I first want to apologise profusely for the shocking photography; next time I ask my sister to take my ootd photographs...well...I shan't. I've taken my black H&M skinny jeans and paired them with my waterfall style white tee from South and my leather jacket! I'm determined to get a new (faux) leather jacket because this one I have was from Primark and lets be honest it's not the best quality and it's like 2 sizes too big but having said that, today with the sleeves rolled up it looked pretty good! To add a little something I added my new faux fur collar from eBay and accessorised with gold jewellery and decided to wear my awesome Nike high tops to add the sporty twist. I think the contrast between the fur and the trainers finishes off the look perfectly!

Now onto the finer details, the bracelet shown above on the left is the daintiest, cutest bracelet I own! It came in a pack of 4 from Topshop and I am IN LOVE with it. I wear it with pretty much everything! To match all the jewellery up I added my favourite disc necklace and small gold hoops!
For makeup I kept it simple with a contoured natural eye and winged eyeliner, bronzer and blusher.

I had a great day out shopping and I love this outfit!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post!
Until next time; up and out!

Oh yes it's Ladies night! ✿

Hello!
So, the other week I stayed over at my friend Katherine's house where we went out for a meal and had a mini photoshoot in her back garden! (Wow, that sounded way less dirty in my head.)
I had a lovely meal at ASK, an Italian restaurant in Southend High Street which Katherine's wonderful mother paid for! Thank you very much! I opted for a pizza, the Prosciutto E Bufala to be exact. It was a tomato and mozzarella pizza topped with smoked prosciutto, rocket and ripped buffalo mozzarella! Delish! Then for desert I decided to go for the good old profiteroles!
In this blog post I shall be presenting to you what me and my friend Katherine wore on our evening out!

Enjoy!
<3

Black lace leotard paired with a pair of high waisted distressed shorts.
Then a pair of black tights with black boots and a white blazer!
Lace detailing and boots!
And finally Katherine's hair and make up!
Beautiful!
Here I'm wearing a sheer aztec patterned top from Primark,
tucked into some Topshop MOTO high waisted jeans!
With that I'm wearing some plain black tights, my fat platform pumps from
River Island then my plain black blazer from H&M.
Bird necklace & Spiked ear cuff
River Island shoes and New Look socks!

Couldn't find a photo of me on my own so I decided to put this one in! ;D
On my lips, I'm wearing Pink Plaid by MAC.
I had such a lovely time with my bestfriend!<3

Byee!

Past Two Weeks: Instagram photos ✿

Hello!
So, these past two weeks have been fairly eventful!
Well, I say eventful, what I really mean is, more interesting than usual.
I have been pretty busy and this is what kinda thing I've been throwing at my Instagram!
Enjoy!
<3

Considering I'm fairly artistic I tried my hand at tattoo designs.
I'm pleased with the result!
I went to see my bestfriend in the whole entire world ever
and took this quick snap of her and her kitty cat!
While I was at my bestfriend's house we decided to do some fashion
style drawings, this was mine! I love the hat!

Now I'm at my Dads and he challenged me to draw a photo
of SUPERMAN - which I completed!
Woo! Dad took me out to Nandos! I had a yummy chicken burger with fries!
Was delish!
My wonderful father also treated me to a pair of Nike high tops!
I can't thank him enough!
Yet another drawing! This one I prefer to the others.
It's a lot more 'me'.
I tried out some false lashes for prom and laaaave them!

I tried out some nail wraps courtesy of my friend, Tyler!
I really like them apart from the dying urge to peel them off!

My Instagram notice for my new blog post, previous to this one!

Artistic photography shot taken today before I was off on my way out to
Frankie & Bennies for a lovely meal then to see The Chernobyl Diaries!
The end!

Prom 2012 ✿

Hello bloggers!
I'm back..although you probably hadn't noticed I'd disappeared!
My last blog post was on the 10th of June..it's now the 13th of July. Sorry about that.

Anyways, since my last blog post I experienced my End of School PROM. It was an amazing evening and I had so much fun! Everyone looked stunning, although some of the dresses were a bit OTT and there was FAKE TAN OVERLOAD. Having said that, it was awesome to see everyone dressed up in all their finery. The boys also looked pretty dapper, apart from the ones who looked like they were going to a wedding! I preferred the whole suit and trainers kinda look.
Me and my friend Nathan!
From Left to Right: My bestfriends, Tyler and Nathan.
Then me on the end in dusty pink.

From Left to Right: Nick and Shane, n'awww. Lauren who looks like she wishes she was somewhere else. Chloe looking very tall and mermaid like. Little old me! Then my bestfriends Tyler and Nathan looking very happy indeed!

Now, onto transport, as you can imagine there were
plenty of limos, I myself was a victim of this vehicle catastrophe. I'm not too keen on limos myself but I was with a group of seven so we didn't really have much choice - I would have much preferred a nice old looking car or a VW camper! Having said that, it was such a fun experience and being inside a limo is so much fun! Other transport included a yellow sportscar which was cool and a few stretch hummers! There were also a couple of boys who turned up in a lorry which certainly stood out!

Our pearly white limo!
I had my prom at The Olde Plough House in Brentwood. It's a lovely looking place inside, there are tall panelled ceilings and lovely gardens! The food on the other hand wasn't so great. For our starter we had a Melon Fruit Salad. I don't even like melon anyways but the other fruit didn't look so great - it was very watery and I didn't even get a whole segment of orange..it was more like a slither. (':  For the main course we had, what looked like, grilled chicken with roast potatoes and carrots. Thank god there was gravy because that chicken was so damn dry! Everything was very bland and tasteless! They did provide us with salt which I could of used to my advantage but I didn't know we had any on our table as it was covered by the stupid laminated piece of paper saying "Table One"! Finally, for desert we were given cheesecake! Yay - something yummy at last..I was wrong. I have NO idea what flavour it was meant to be. Caramel? Vanilla? No idea. It had a weird orange thing on the top which made me want to barf and a piece of white chocolate. So strange. All in all, the meal was pretty mediocre but as the night went on I had a fantastic time dancing with my friends!

Me, in the pink with red hair, then my other art buddy Poppy and Year 7 & 8 friend Hayley!

I had such an amazing night, if you're considering prom then definately go!
It's a wonderful experience!
Goodbye Secondary School!!
