Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Review ✿

Today I'm reviewing the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation; I've heard so much about this foundation through beauty blogs and YouTube saying it's an amazing product and worth a try so I popped to Boots and got my own bottle for £9.99.

I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I am SO pleased with it! It's a medium to full coverage but some problem areas might need a bit of concealer. I have a lot of red pigments in my skin, especially in the middle of my face around my nose and on my chin and this foundation does so well to cover it up! It gives me a flawless and radiant complexion, a perfect foundation for the warmer months.

The shade I purchased is No.53 Light Beige which matched me perfectly, I haven't got my summer tan on yet so I don't know if I'm going to need to purchase a second shade. I'm wearing an MUA Bronzer and Natural Collection blusher in Peach Melba. I apply this foundation with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush which is really good for flawlessly blending the product onto the skin.

After hearing all the hype about this product it's definitely worth buying, if you like a dewy, healthy looking foundation then this is a perfect drug store buy! I wouldn't suggest buying it if you have oily skin just because it rubs off quite during the day, I've noticed that at college, it'll rub off on my chin and mainly the centre of my face slightly, the parts where I'm most oily. But apart from that it's very long lasting and I seriously recommend it!

Thanks so much for reading! I'll be back on Thursday with a HAUL featuring American Apparel! :)

Covent Garden OOTD ✿

I feel like every blog post I do begins with an apology and I have to say, almost a month without a blog post is pretty appalling, so again, my sincerest apologies.
Today (or rather tonight I should say) I have an ootd post which should have been uploaded a week ago when I went to visit the beautiful Covent garden and the ICA Exhibition center. I will have pictures from the Exhibition at the end if any of you are interested!

In this outfit post I have a few new items that I would like to show you! Apologies for the awful photo of me, unfortunately, there's only ONE of me, so I can't take photos of myself. :/

I think it's my hair that totally ruins this picture for me. Anyway, there I am standing outside the Paul Smith shop. ;)

Top: Topshop // Jeans: New Look // Socks: Topshop // Shoes: River Island // Bag; Zara // Neckalce & bracelet: New Look //

I found this super cute long top in the Topshop sale for £7, I can't work out whether they're black stripes or navy blue, but it's got two cuts going up either side so I could style it tucked into something with the back out etc. It's a staple for my summer wardrobe and an absolute bargin in my opinion!

My wrist accessories! On my left hand I wore a selection of thread bracelets, 3 of them were dainty chains, two neon colours with heart charms that I also got from the Topshop sale!
On my right hand I wore a simple bangle that I stole from my sister (mwuahahhahaa) and a chain bracelet to match my neckalce, this bracelet was free with the New Look 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' which I also got my chain necklace with. The necklace cost me £6.99 - the cheapest I've seen these necklaces so far.

I hope you enjoyed my outfit post, I should be back tomorrow (or the next day) with a review of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation! I've been loving it so far and I'm going to go more into detail in that post. Also, let me know if you'd like a 'What's in my Makeup Bag' post!

I'm now going to leave with some photographs of the Exhibition I visited at the ICA. It was called '2000 Wasted Years' by The Bernadette Corporation. They're a New York retrospective art group who tried their hand at ambiguous fashion branding in the 90's. The exhibition shows all their work from when the began to the current day. I'll leave the link to the ICA website if you fancy visiting. Thanks for reading!
